Bridgeport Tank Trucks, based in Bridgeport, Texas, is a leading independent provider of oilfield transport and disposal services. Some of their other services include equipment rentals for oilfield production and drilling operations in the Barnett Shale. Their primary services include completion and other production related services, saltwater transport and disposal, frac tank rental, and other related equipment rentals at the well site.

Bridgeport Tank Trucks began their operation in May of 1975 when Lawrence and Betty Holley purchased two used Chevrolet bobtail vacuum trucks. They ran their business from a small portable office. As the business grew, the Holley’s four children; David, Ronald, Randal, and Jan, were quickly put to work. With the purchase of their first Mack truck in the late 1970s, the Holley’s became loyal Mack customers. In May of 2000, after moving into their newly built office and shop, they celebrated their 25th year in business.

In 2005 Ronald and Jan purchased the operation from the family. As part of the reorganization long time employee, Gene Melton became a partner in the business. One of their first business opportunities was the purchase of Service Tanks. This purchase has tremendously expanded their Frac Tank business. Another opportunity to expand their business was the opening of a new location in Cleburne, Texas in April 2006. The Cleburne location has been very successful and continues to grown under the supervision of Scott Allen.

Over the years, Bridgeport Tank Trucks has continued to grow. In 2007, they teamed up with Audax, a private equity group. Then in May 2008, they purchased Turn Key Energy of Granbury, Texas with Jim Kucholtz managing this part of the organization. And as recent as June 2008, they added West Fork Tank Trucks, managed by Kirby Elenburg, to the Bridgeport Truck family.

Bridgeport Tank Trucks contributes much of their success to their employees. Without their hard work and dedication, they would not be as successful. Bridgeport Tank Trucks and Bruckner Truck Sales have enjoyed a strong relationship for many years. Bruckner’s is proud to have them as a customer! We wish them continued success and growth in the future.
